How Much Does A Cheap Stag Do Abroad Cost?

The cost of a stag weekend abroad largely depend on the number of people going, and usually, the more you have, the less it costs.

That's because you can share on things like accommodation costs, which can occasionally be a lot if there's not many people.

On average you can expect to pay around £150 - £250 each for a stag weekend abroad (outside the UK) which will should be enough to get you some no frills hotel and flights.

Bear in mind this largely depends on where you're going, your living arrangements for the weekend, the time of year you're going and which airport you're flying from.

You should get an idea of how much people are willing to spend, and make the stag do affordable for everyone.

Eastern Europe Stags vs Western Europe Stags

The general rule of thumb is that the Eastern Europe stag weekends are the cheapest once you are there. But some of the Western Europe stag destinations are cheaper to get to (since they're closer).

So Dublin may be cheaper to get to in terms of flights, but once you're there, it can be pricey.

On the other hand, places in Poland such as Krakow, Gdansk, and Warsaw, and other top Eastern European destinations such as Bratislava, Prague or Budapest could be a tiny bit more in airfare, but will be a hell of a lot cheaper for accommodation, beer and food.

There's some give or take in where to spend the money, but we think it's a far better idea to go to Eastern Europe which may cost that tiny bit more in getting there, but once you arrive, it's dirt cheap for almost everything.

Getting There

There's plenty of cheap airline carriers, which depart from various UK cities to all parts of Europe.

You'll have to check that there's flights from your local airport to your desired destination, and using something like Skyscanner is perfect for that.

You can try out the usual low cost airlines, the main UK ones are RyanAir, Aer Lingus, Easyjet and Jet2.

But don't rule out other airlines which operate from Europe such as Wizz Air, KLM, Air France, Eurowings, Lufthansa and Norwegian Air.

Verdict

And there you have it! An average night out in the UK can cost £100, so for not a lot more, you can have the weekend of a lifetime with your mates on a cheap stag night in Europe.
