Stag Do Drinking Games

Stag Do Drinking Games

Can you have a stag do without alcohol? We don't think so! And when that starts flowing, there's plenty of fun to be had.

Organising drinking games on your stag do can be a fun way for the whole group to get to know each other, interact and above all, have an epic time.

Here's some of the best drinking games you can play on the night, which all of the lads will love.

Beer Pong

What You Need: Ping Pong Balls

How To Play: Beer pong is a classic game which is easy to play. All you need are some ping pong balls, glasses which they fit in and beer.

All you do is stand end on end at a table, arrange the cups, and alternate between throwing the balls, with the aim of getting them in the cup.

Once you hit the cup, your opponent has to down that cup, with whatever alcohol is inside.

There's even plenty of bars which specialise in beer pong, so you can arrange going to one of these, if there's one available in your city.

Left Hand Drinking

A very simple game to play, but hard to keep track of. It's left hand drinking.

Have you noticed most people drink with their right hand? Well you can enforce a rule that says everyone must drink left handed, all night.

If someone breaks the rule, they must do a forfeit.

Never Have I Ever

A game which will reveal everything about the stag and all the lads, it's Never Have I Ever.

What You Need: Alcohol

How To Play: Everyone has a shot in front of them, and has to reveal a fact about themselves, starting with the words, Never have I ever...

If someone has done it, they take a shot. If you haven't, then you don't.

A really simple game, but very fun (and revealing!) way to really get to know people.

The Centurion

The good old centurion drinking game. It sounds like such a simple game, but it can be hard to keep up, and it will get you drunk.

What You Need: Beer. Lots of beer. Stopwatch or something to keep time.

How To Play: As you'll know, a century is 100, and that's what the game is all about.

You have to drink 100 shots of beer, having a shot every minute. That's 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes.

That's 2.5 litres of beer, or around 4.3 pints. It doesn't seem like a lot, but when you're downing them shot after shot at 60 second intervals, you'll definitely feel it!

Dirty Pint

Want to drink something really disgusting? A Dirty pint is the way to go.

What You Need: An empty pint glass, a coin and everyone else drinking lots of different drinks.

How to play: Everyone pours a little bit of their alcohol in the pint glass. It goes around the lads once.

Then, on the second pass, you pour some more in, and flip a coin. If you guess the right outcome, it goes on to the next person, who pours some of their drink in, and guesses again.

Once someone guesses wrong, it's bad for them, because now they have to down that drink.

Gents, this is the dirty pint.

The Mystery Shot

This one can be played a number of ways, it's the mystery shot. Generally, you'll get a round of shots in of different flavours, and then someone has to pick one out.

How to play: Go to a bar which sells a lot of variations of alcohol, or better, a vodka bar.

It's best to order one shot which is completely revolting, which really makes this game stand out.

Buy lots of different shots, line them up, and then everyone has to pick one out, and drink it.

Take turns drinking them one by one, and watch the reactions of each person. Will you be the one who gets the most lethal shot?

Shot Roulette

Another shot based game is shot roulette, and there's a few ways you can play.

How to play: Order a round of shots, but in this game, one of the shots is simply water. Mix up the shots, and distribute them to the lads.

It is obviously best to play with clear liquid which resembles water, so that could be vodka, or sambuca.

Then it's time to down the shots, and watch everyone's faces as they down the drink. You'll probably easily tell who got the water.

You can repeat this a number of times until everyone has had enough.
