Hen Party Checklist - To Do List And Planning A Hen Do
Whether you're a bridesmaid, maid of honour, or the lucky hen herself, planning a hen night can be stressful.
Lucky for you we've created this nice and easy hen party checklist to take the hassle out of planning the perfect hen party.
This guide will keep you right, and make it as easy as possible for organising and planning a hen night.
Before The Hen Do
Speak To The Bride
Get an idea of what kind of hen party she wants. Does she want it to be classy, cheesy, traditional, something new?
Does she want to be included in the planning, or is she going to let you or someone else organise it. Check our guide on who plans the hen party if you're in doubt.
Even if the hen is involved, you might want to leave out a few surprises for on the night.
Save The Date
Make sure that you pick a date, and let everyone who's going know in advance, so they can make sure they're available.
This is important for the more people you have going, and the more complex the hen night is.
Organisation, Research, Costing, Prices
Are you going to organise a traditional one night hen party? Is it going to be a full day and night? Are you looking to have a hen party at home?
It could be over a weekend and going abroad.
You should do some research into the options, depending on what you'd like to do, and how long for. Check out some Hen Party Themes if you're looking for ideas.
For fun and a good time, one thing you can do is play some hen party games. The good thing about these is that there's so many which can suit a wide range of people, so nobody will feel left out and the night will be brilliant for everyone involved.
Once you have worked out what it is you'd like to do, you have to work out how much it's going to cost per person, and have at least a rough idea or estimate on how much the night or weekend is going to cost.
We got some brilliant MR & Mrs Question game you can download to your phone. Perfect for any night out with the girls.

Communicating With The Hen Party
You should have an idea of who's going to the hen party, ask the bride to be if there's people she wants or does not want to invite.
Once you have the list, it's time to let them know the plans and itinerary along with the costing and dates.
These days it's pretty simple, with things being done over email, Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media. Keep a note of who's going and who can't make it.
The Budget - Adjustments
Once you have told the people going to the party, you can let them know the approximate costs of what you have planned, and get their feedback.
Some people may be fine with the budget, it could be out of reach for others, depending on the costs.
Final Planning
Now you've contacted the people going, got a rough budget in mind and got an idea of what you're going to be doing, it's now time to finalise the plans.
Get the amount that people have to pay and officially invite all though who's said they're interested in going.
Hen Party T Shirts
We have to mention Hen Party T Shirts! If you are organising the hen do there's nothing better than everyone being uniformed and all wearing the same thing.
You can of course get yours from us, and get some personalisation with hen night nickname ideas to make each T-shirt fun and individual.
The Run Up To The Hen Party
Make sure that everyone has paid if they need to, it's now almost time for the big night!
Remind everyone of the meet up place as well as the time to be there for, this is especially important if you're going to a venue or further afield.
If you are taking props or getting people to take things, make sure that all of these are ready and everything is sorted and prepared in good time, giving you one less thing to think about.
